After a less-than-fantastic day at work (in a nutshell: unexpected lay-offs that affected one of my officemates and a few people I’ve gotten to know around the facility), I did have an awesome workout at gymnastics.
I guess a lot of people were out for spring break, so the gym was pretty empty. I did some tumbling on the rod floor, this time doing a back-layout. I had a lot of fun almost doing an actual bar routine from way back in the day. It felt great, and I think it was enough to convince me to continue taking the class—at least until the end of May before they go to their summer schedule.
My What I Ate Wednesday meals are actually from several days (i.e. what I actually photographed). Thanks, Jenn, for hosting this lovely link-up party each week.
Breakfast: a peanut butter-chocolate green smoothie yesterday (not my best) and another yogurt bowl today: plain Greek, almond butter, puffed millet, peanut butter Puffins, mixed berries, banana, and wheat germ.
Lunch: part of Sunday’s leftover crockpot roast beef with herbed potatoes and collard greens.
Snack: some blueberry tea and a cucidata (Italian fig cookie from Brocato’s).
Dinner: romaine salad and a BLT on Monday and ginger-carrot soup with a grilled cheese tonight.
Here’s to hoping tomorrow is a better day at work. Happy Hump Day! 🙂
