Today is a combination of both my favorite days: Wednesday and Friday.
Mark and I took off work tomorrow and Friday in order to visit the in-laws and help them move into their new house.
I’m super excited to get away, but since we’re not going to be home a few days, my What I Ate Wednesday meals are a little odd. (Sorry for the worse-than-usual photos; I’m posting quickly!)
Breakfast: a cup of raspberry Chobani and half a whole wheat English muffin with peanut butter.
Lunch: all the leftovers in the fridge! Lentil-walnut loaf, steamed broccoli, sautéed potatoes, and a not-very-re-heat-able stuffed mirliton.
Snack: a Fuji apple and un-pictured package of peanut M&M’s (the chocolate monster couldn’t be tamed).
Dinner: whole wheat linguini with pesto (with basil, parsley, lemon balm, and oregano from our garden) and an herbed white bean dip with wheat thins.
I can’t believe it…but yesterday’s post was my 100th entry. I’d had every intention to do something special, but somehow #99 snuck past me and I didn’t realize it until I’d hit “publish.” Oh well, perhaps I’ll do a special anniversary post later this summer!
Tonight was, however, my 10th Bikram yoga class. Though the room seemed a billion degrees hotter than the last few times, I feel it was my best class yet (at least until my feet started cramping during cobra and locust, thanks to the sandals I wore to work today). I hope I don’t go into withdrawal while we’re in Mississippi!
Happy Hump Day, blog world. See you next Monday, most likely. 🙂
