You all may not have noticed, but if you have a really keen eye, you might have spotted a brand new badge on my side bar.
That’s right—I was recently selected to be a For Two Fitness Ambassador!
I’m extremely excited to help promote and represent this fantastic brand. If you’re unfamiliar, For Two Fitness is an apparel company (founded by another fitness-oriented expectant mother) that’s devoted to helping other moms-to-be stay committed to a healthy lifestyle and fit pregnancy.
From their website:
Tired of feeling like nothing fits? Wish your bump looked a little more “baby” than “big lunch”? Want to share your (awesome) reason for slowing down? Yep, we’ve all been there. Want to feel cute again? We can help with that!
We celebrate your pregnancy and outfit you in the same (yes, the same!) high performance fabrics you are already accustomed to from big name retailers.
If you’ve run any races recently or are active in your local gym, CrossFit, or yoga studio, chances are you’ve seen some of their cute racerback or signature camisole-style tanks (I know I saw a fellow racer at last month’s 8K By The Bay sporting a gorgeous purple “Running for Two” top).
Though I love them all, my favorite is probably the “Training for Two” racerback tank since I like to dabble in a little bit of everything (running, yoga, Pilates, and barre) to stay fit. In fact, I just recently bought one for myself as a belated Mother’s Day gift!
While I was a little hesitant to buy one due to the price, I’m glad I took the plunge. Not only is it adorable, but it’s extremely comfortable and lightweight. Although I haven’t done too intense of a workout yet, I found the top to stay in place (and I’m constantly adjusting and pulling at my Old Navy workout tanks!) and keep me cool with its moisture-wicking material. Plus, it’s both supportive and stretchy—enough to last me through my third trimester with no trouble.
Apart from tanks, they also have an assortment of short- and long-sleeved tops, outerwear, yoga pants, workout capris, and even an adorable headband.
What I find most impressive about For Two Fitness (besides the high quality) is that it’s still a family-run business despite its growing success. I also love how the tops are designed to flatter and celebrate the shape of expectant mothers, not to disguise them as if our growing bumps are something to be ashamed of or hidden.
Be sure to check out the FTF blog (which features contributions from other moms and moms-to-be); FTF can also be found on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, and in several well-known publications such as SHAPE, Fit Pregnancy, People, and Oxygen.
To all other expectant mothers: join the fun and share fitness photos of you and your bump using the hashtags #fitpregnancy and #fortwofitness.
**I purchased this product myself, and I was not compensated for this blog post in any way. As always, all opinions are my own.**

So I’m years and years away from having kids, but I think those shirts are so adorable!

I know! They’re pricey (way more than I usually pay for workout gear), but the adorable factor won out. I just hope I get enough wear out of it these next few months since I’d look funny wearing it post-baby!
