Let’s play catch up, shall we?
Last week I sort of took a blogging hiatus in order to prepare for Baby M’s first week of daycare, so I didn’t recap the previous week of workouts. No sweat, right? (Actually, there was plenty of sweat.) I’ll just share the last 2 weeks today.
Week 6
- July 27: 45 minutes of cardio barre + lunchtime walk
- July 28: lunchtime walk
- July 29: lunchtime walk
- July 30: 1 hour of cardio barre (holy glutes!)
- July 31: lunchtime walk
- August 1: 25-minute walk (it was sweltering out!) with the baby
- August 2: rest
I actually made it to the gym TWICE during week 6. Woohoo! Both classes were a lot fun, and surprisingly I wasn’t too sore after the glutes-heavy Thursday night class.
Week 7
- August 3: lunchtime walk
- August 4: lunchtime walk
- August 5: lunchtime walk
- August 6: lunchtime walk (cut short due to rain)
- August 7: lunchtime walk
- August 8: short walk with the family
- August 9: marathon house cleaning (totally counts!)
Since this was the baby’s first week at day care, I purposely stayed home from the gym and relaxed in the evenings. I didn’t want to interrupt our routine too much, but since things went smoothly with the transition, I’m planning to take a cardio barre class tonight.
