Hey, guys! Hope you’re having a lovely Thursday. Just hang in there—the weekend is right around the corner!
Even though I have a ridiculous number of drafts in my folder, I thought I’d share a light-hearted post today. I saw this survey first on Peanut Butter Fingers, but I’ve seen it a number of places since.
But first—thanks for all the love on Monday’s post. Honestly I was a bit afraid to hit “publish” because I feared people might read into it like I was pointing fingers or blaming the HLB community for something it can’t 100% police or prevent.
That’s so not the case. In fact, I think the HLB community is incredibly positive on the whole, and I’ve connected with a lot of great bloggers this year. I’m glad you all could relate! <3
Anyway, let’s think out loud, survey-style.

Lyss says
Pitch perfect is the best movie. Also eat peanut butter and bananas every day, and drink coffee everyday too. I would be dead without it haha. I always wear my lokai bracelet and use my eos chapstick every day!
foodiecology says
Good choices! I love EOS – I actually alternate between it and the BB.
Kate Bennett says
The Head and the Heart is one of my favorites!! I listen to the Bon Iver Pandora radio station and the come on a lot. “Sound like Hallelujah” has been on repeat for me lately!
5 places I’m dying to visit: Redwood forest in California, Jerusalem, a tropical island (I really want to go on a cruise), Greece, Harry Potter World
foodiecology says
Jerusalem! Almost included it over Egypt. It’s definitely on the list – I would be too scared to go with all the turmoil in the Middle East currently, though (Egypt too).
Harry Potter World is awesome. We went 3 years ago and it was the coolest. And that’s probably my favorite song of theirs!
Amanda Brooks (@RunToTheFinish) says
Wohooo I did this too!! So Iceland is truly the best trip I’ve ever taken, you gotta do it!!
foodiecology says
Haha, yay for surveys. Iceland is new to my list. A friend went last year and I was amazed by her pictures!
Amanda @ .running with spoons. says
I’ve actually been meaning to re-read Room after reading it a few years back. Definitely a great read, but also pretty dark and heavy. Five things I eat everyday: bananas, dates, oats, almond butter, and baby spinach.
foodiecology says
Oats – how could I have forgotten those?
Yes, I’ve heard Room is very dark but since the movie got a lot of buzz, I really want to read before watching!
Beauty in Christ (@Emily11949309) says
Italy and Iceland are GORGEOUS. I need to check out those foodie bloggers, very soon. 🙂 Thank you for sharing!!! <3
foodiecology says
You’re welcome, Emily! Be prepared to drool 😉

Baaah love actually and pitch perfect!! My faves. So good. Other guilty pleasure movies of mine: my best friends wedding, how to lose a guy in ten days and titanic. Gosh. I guess I like my chick flicks. Nice to get to know you!
foodiecology says
It’s funny – even though I’m not big into current chick flicks, those are often my favorites from the past. I loooove Titanic and all the others you’ve mentioned, too!
Morgan @ Managing Mommyhood says
LOVE the Head and the Heart! I feel like no one listens to them, but I love them!
foodiecology says
Seriously – nobody I know listens to them! They were actually playing in my hometown 4 days before my due date and as much as I wanted to chance it, we stayed home (& my son was born 2 days later). Hoping they come back.
nicole @ Life After Heels says
Five items I would wear everyday. 1)my engagement ring, 2)my wedding ring, 3) my favorite cotton t-shirt, 4) my lucky brand boyfriend jeans, and 5) my Hoka sneakers
foodiecology says
Yes to favorite cotton t-shirts! I’m lucky to have 3 different colors of the one I noted. 🙂
hungryforbalance says
I use basically the EXACT same beauty products! I just found the rose hip oil thanks to Julie!
foodiecology says
Ha, great minds… 😉
What do you think of rose hop oil so far? I am prone to breakouts when I use product, but so far, my face is clear!
hungryforbalance says
I like it, but I’ve been experiencing some severe hormonal acne (prior to using it). I’m hoping it helps.
Melissa @ Freeing Imperfections says
Again – love love loved Monday’s post 🙂 I eat the same five foods every day, but eggs a little less often. I wish I could learn to love eggs more!
