Hey guys! I hope you were able to ring in the New Year with the folks you love most and some good food and drinks. We stayed home (as per the last several years of our lives…we’re old) but we did stay up until midnight so we could finish off our prosecco and cava and celebrate 2017 in real time.
Unfortunately, New Year’s Day and yesterday were pretty crummy weather-wise. Even though I need to do some shopping for our upcoming trip to Philly, I didn’t even leave the house. Hopefully that old wives’ tale of “whatever you do on New Year’s Day is what you do all year long” isn’t true.
Anyway, before I move away from New Year’s fodder, I thought I would recap some of my most popular and well-received posts.
One of my favorite things about blogging is the ability to look back on my life. While I don’t treat this blog like an online journal (trust me, you’d get bored fast if I did!), I do think it reflects a lot of important moments: the good, the bad, the challenging, and the exciting.
I didn’t include restaurant or product reviews, but otherwise, these are the 12 most popular posts from A Cup of Catherine in 2016.

Thanks, Lyss. I need to figure out how to write about my everyday life without boring everybody, haha. That is actually a goal of mine – to make the blog a little more persona without sharing too much about my son and hubs since I respect their privacy.
