Last night I attended a group fitness class that I haven’t been to in ages. The instructor is a great, sweet person—and she’s incredibly fit and encouraging—but sometimes I feel like her classes may not be the best fit for me. In fact, I think I might be over group fitness.

These Blissful Eats Chunky Monkey Waffles are a breeze to make. When topped with a simple, two-ingredient Nutella syrup, they become a decadent breakfast that anybody can create! Ever since I tasted a sample of Blissful Eats granola, I’ve been a fan of Nicole Culver and her many pursuits. I love listening to her podcast—Blissful Bites—which…
Currently // March 2017
Hey guys! I had no intention of skipping February’s “currently” post, but those short months tend to flyyyyy right by, don’t they? And here we are nearing the end of March! I haven’t really had a whole lot on my mind lately, so I figured today was as good a day as any to give…
Healthy Zucchini Banana Nut Bread
This healthy zucchini banana nut bread is lightly sweet and filling enough for breakfast or a hearty snack! With hidden vegetables, it’s the perfect treat for the picky eater in your family! This past weekend was so much fun, but I had a pretty awful “mom moment” during the course of it. (Don’t worry—this post…
Sunday Link Love: 03.19.17
Hey, hey! Happy Sunday and almost-Spring! It’s absolutely gorgeous outside, but unfortunately, we’re staying inside taking care of a cranky and slightly under-the-weather little boy. 🙁 Friday night was low-key, but we old fogies wouldn’t have it any other way. Since I am trying to abstain from alcohol during Lent, I will not be partaking in any green beer this year. Truth be…
Sunday Link Love: 03.12.17
Hello! How did you guys survive the time change? I hate losing that hour of sleep, but I’m excited for more daylight. How was your week and weekend? All 3 of us seem to be feeling slightly under the weather (not sure if it’s allergies or a cold), but we managed to get out of…
Lent Isn’t Just About Fasting

I didn’t grow up participating in the customs of Lent, and I generally believe that one’s religious commitment to fasting or self-improvement is something personal that shouldn’t be broadcast all over social media. Nevertheless, I’ve been thinking of the whole idea…
Sunday Link Love: 03.05.17
Hey, hey! How was your weekend? Ours was low-key. We took Bazooka to get his hair cut Saturday morning. The shears freaked him out like they usually do, but he was a big boy and sat in the chair by himself (usually he’s in daddy’s lap). Afterward we got some lunch at a new(ish) restaurant,…
