Hello! How did you guys survive the time change?
I hate losing that hour of sleep, but I’m excited for more daylight.
How was your week and weekend?
All 3 of us seem to be feeling slightly under the weather (not sure if it’s allergies or a cold), but we managed to get out of the house yesterday.
I finally took my car to get an oil change/tire rotation and we went to the fairgrounds for the American Cancer Society Chili Cook Off.
I’m not even a huge chili fan, but there was a team from work and we got discounted tickets, so we tried a few different batches before calling it a day.
Today will be more of the usual: grocery shopping, prepping for the week, and possibly a visit to the gym for me. And hopefully some baking and shooting a recipe for the blog.
Hope you all have a lovely Sunday!

Love links to read!! I don’t mind daylight savings — it usually doesn’t affect me much! This weekend I went out yesterday to brunch and a flea market and today it’s just groceries and movies– probably work on my blog a bit too!

Sounds like a great Sunday! My son actually slept late today, so the time change didn’t bother us either. Yay!

I’m so excited for it to be light out at night again! Love these reads too <3

Hooray for longer days! I hope it encourages me to get out for evening walks more frequently. 🙂

So many great reads! Thanks for sharing 🙂
So don’t hate me, but we don’t do DST in Hawaii… And it’s great! I don’t miss it one bit. I’m from Colorado and my mom was telling me there is talk of them wanting to appeal it for the state. Part of me doesn’t understand why we still do it and why some states don’t participate in it. It does make knowing the time difference from here to another place hard because it doesn’t stay the same all year!

I knew some places in the states didn’t do DST, but I didn’t realize Hawaii was one of them. Truthfully, it’s dumb. I just wish they’d leave it the same all year. I bet the time difference does get confusing!

Great links Catherine. I didn’t sleep well anyway last night so losing an hour was actually less time getting no sleep, so I’m all for it. I took a nap today to make up for it and it was GLORIOUS!
Have a great week 🙂
