These decadent, perfectly portioned Coopers’ Craft Kentucky Bourbon Pecan Pie parfaits are the ultimate treat! Just assemble the ingredients for a sinful dessert that’s easy as pie!
Spending my entire life in the Deep South, I’ve cultivated an intense love for pecans.
Apart from being healthy (like other nuts), they are such a wonderful canvas for different flavors!
Pecans can be roasted and spiced for a crunchy salad topping or processed into an ultra-creamy and decadent nut butter.
And, if you have a lively sweet tooth, you can enjoy pecans in one of the most class forms—pecan pie.
In addition to bourbon, I recently received a sample of Coopers’ Craft Kentucky Bourbon pie filling in, you guessed it, pecan pie flavor!
You guys, I could probably eat this stuff straight from the jar!
Coopers’ Craft is distilled and bottled in Louisville, Kentucky, and their classic Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is aged in oak barrels they manufacture themselves.
The pie filling, which can be purchased at Louisville Stoneware, is made with ¼ cup of their lightly fruity and delicately-spiced sipping bourbon.
I thought about following the recipe for pecan pie, but now that spring is here and it’s warm outside, I decided I’d create a dessert using two other classics—vanilla ice cream and bananas.
Reminiscent of traditional pecan pie and another indulgent dessert, bananas foster, these parfaits are the ultimate easy and sinful dessert!
Coopers’ Craft Kentucky Bourbon Pecan Pie Parfaits
Ingredients
- 1 cup vanilla ice cream
- ½ cup crumbled graham crackers
- 1 small banana, thinly sliced
- ½ cup Coopers’ Craft Kentucky Bourbon pie filling
Directions
- Add ¼ cup vanilla ice cream to the bottom of 2 rocks glasses.
- Next, add ¼ cup of crumbled graham crackers to each glass, the remainder of the ice cream, the pecan pie filling, and the sliced bananas.
- If desired, top with whipped cream and a dash of cinnamon and enjoy!
The rocks glasses aren’t 100% necessary, but I thought they were a fun play on the whole bourbon thing—plus we have a gazillion different glasses that are rarely used.
These @coopers_craft Kentucky Bourbon Pecan Pie Parfaits are so DECADENT! Share on X**I received a free sample of Coopers’ Craft Kentucky Bourbon pie filling to review on my blog. I was not compensated for this blog post, and all opinions are my own.**
