I received a complimentary box of MCTbars from MCTco in exchange for my honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
If I asked you to look around and notice “change,” I guarantee it wouldn’t take much effort.
Many of you are still working from home due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Your communities are coming together to support movements like Black Lives Matter.
Spring is slowly (or quickly, in some parts of the country like my own) transitioning into Summer.
Change—big and small—is all around. And it’s inevitable.
Some change though, particularly the lasting kind, takes effort—especially when the goal is better health.
Recently I was gifted a box of assorted MCTbars from MCTco. The flavors include: Cookie Dough, Caramel Sea Salt, and Cocoa.
If you’re looking for easy, grab-and-go snacks that will keep you on track to maintaining a healthy lifestyle, then MCTbars are for you.
Not only are these bars delicious, they are keto-friendly and chock-full of healthy, non-GMO, and gluten-free ingredients like almond butter, chicory root powder, grass-fed collagen protein, and organic cocoa.
They are naturally sweetened with monk fruit extract, contain sunflower lecithin (which has been shown to aid in lowering cholesterol), and earn their name from the coconut-derived MCT oil, a healthy fat linked to improved memory and cognition, as well as increased metabolism.
But MCT isn’t just a healthy oil—it’s also an important slogan the folks at MCTco live by: Making Change Transpire.™
I always consider taste and cost when determining whether to support a product or not, but when a brand promotes healthy balance and incremental change the way MCTco does, I’m an even bigger cheerleader.
Over the last week, I tasted each of the bars. Though they arrived a bit melty and misshapen (thank you, Alabama heat and humidity!), they “recovered” just fine. The cocoa was probably my favorite—simple and just sweet enough—and I also loved the salty-sweet balance of the caramel sea salt.
The cookie dough was my least favorite—but I think it’s because the chocolate chips had melted, making the bar a bit oily. The taste was spot-on, though!
These MCTbars make an easy, energy-sustaining breakfast when you’re short on time, and they’re also a perfect portable snack. I haven’t shared any with my son yet, but I would feel 100% comfortable feeding these to the pickiest child on Earth.
MCTbars can be purchased from the company’s website and Amazon, or you can use their search tool to find retail locations near you.
Try them for yourself—and take inventory of the big and small changes you can make to live a healthier life.
